I worship the Goddess Kali every day, bowing to an icon I painted of her. I studied Fine Arts and painting in college and have been an interior designer for 20 years, so I felt drawn to exploring the Kali goddess imagery in my own creative practice. My painting of her is acrylic, gold leaf, and nail polish on canvas, and is an adaptation of Sudha Mookerjee’s visionary depiction. Now I have adapted that artwork into other custom designs, like the Kalimono House Dress Robe, available in my store.
